Improving sustainable aquaculture through nutrition

Join Dr Monica Betancor to hear more about her project which looks to improve sustainable aquaculture through nutrition.

Dr Monica Betancor is a Lecturer at the Institute of Aquaculture in Stirling, whose research includes investigating the potential of nutritional programming to improve the utilisation of sustainable feeds in aquaculture. The research suggests that nutritional programming can improve and enhance the capability of Atlantic salmon to effectively and efficiently utilise sustainable feeds formulated with very low levels of marine ingredients.

In this webinar, in partnership with WiSA, Monica will describe her exciting project, the overall aim of which is to determine the optimal feeding regime to enable nutritional programming in salmon.
