Following the success of the Women in Scottish Aquaculture awards from the last three years, we are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024 edition.
We invite colleagues, friends and family members to nominate someone in Scottish aquaculture that you think deserves recognition for their contribution to the sector. In addition, we strongly encourage self-nominations.
The categories for nomination are:
- Rising star
- Role model of the year
- Ally of the year
- Academic champion of the year
- Outstanding contribution
To be eligible, you must work in Scottish aquaculture (or be a retiree / alum of the sector).
Using the designated form, please set out clearly the reason for the nomination and career highlights of the nominated individual.
The nominees will be judged by an independent panel of individuals from the sector and the winners announced at a celebratory virtual event on International Women’s Day (8 March 2024).
The deadline for nominations is Monday 15 January at 17.00.
